I can't believe I'm actually reading "Sense & Sensibility". Well, it seemed a better idea to read it first before deciding whether or not to buy the VCD simply because Alan Rickman was in it. And I must say I'm feeling quite compelled to buy it even though I'm only at Chapter 16 because it'll be so much easier to just watch the bloody movie instead of dragging myself through all that long-windedness. I never liked Jane Austen very much.

I'm getting quite grossed out by all those slash fics. Some sites are considerate enough to put an enormous "SLASH!" sign there, but some are not. And the real tragedy is that some of these people actually write quite well and have good story ideas. There was this one about Harry feeling depressed and useless after defeating Voldemort in his 7th year, and trying to commit suicide by jumping off the Astronomy tower. But who should save him but Professor Snape! Well, the first few chapters were quite ok, Snape trying to help Harry deal with his feeling of having out-lived his usefulness, deal with his guilt that quite a lot of people died, deal with his attempted suicide... then it all descended into things I don't ever intend to go anywhere near with a 100 mile pole. Not that I'm anti-homo or whatever, but... it's Harry Potter! It's nice clean PG stuff! *shudders*

Nemo nisi mors.

the subject

utopist. dreamer. cynic. poet. a contradiction. eccentric. cartesian. a starlight in the gloom.

The patient, born in 1984, suffers from a history of idealism of unknown onset and duration.
